Anime Log

Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026

Anime Log is a personal anime tracker. This page says plainly what it stores, who can see it, and how to get rid of it. There is no advertising on the site, and nothing here is sold or shared with data brokers.

What is stored

What other people can see

Who else is involved

The site runs on services that necessarily handle some of this data:

Deleting everything

Open Settings and choose Delete my account. It removes your account, your whole library and your friend connections immediately and permanently. You can take a copy first with the Export button, which downloads your library as a file.

Tracking

There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and no third-party tracking cookies. The site keeps a copy of your library in your browser so it works quickly and offline, and stores a sign-in token so you are not asked to sign in repeatedly.

Children

Anime Log is not directed at children under 13 and accounts are not knowingly created for them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.

Contact

If you have an account, the quickest route is Settings → Report a problem. It goes straight to the person who runs the site.

Otherwise, including for a request to remove your data by hand, write to support@theanimelog.com.

Anime Log is a personal project, not a company. This policy describes honestly what the software does; it is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
